A terrific find! September 16, 2009

I love this book!  I used it with my second graders when we were out in the field on hikes and here at the International Wolf Center on our Wildlife Signs Hike.  It has great pictures of the animal, the pads or hooves of their feet, tracks, track patterns, scat and other signs specific to that animal.  The author included solid background information if you would like to learn more.  It is a bit big in size...larger than a field guide and a bit heavy but fits in a back pack just fine.  It also doubles as a good fly swatter if you need one!
