| Singer/songwriter Pat Surface has dedicated his first instrumental album to Sigurd Olson and wilderness preservation efforts and the results are as majestic as a Lake Superior sunrise, as enchanting as a single loon call. Surface spent hundreds of hours in the wild, recording loons and wolves, wind and waterfalls, then set his melodic acoustic music to the sounds from nature. Seven soothing tracks include themes from Pachelbel's Canon in D Major as well as compositions from Michael Monroe. About 50 min. |
