After reading this book, I bought another copy as a gift for a 5-year-old friend who loves horses and dogs - her family has 4 border collies and a terrier. I actually learned some things in this book for children that I didn't know or hadn't really thought about. Although this book is for children, teachers will find it an interesting source of information for designing observational activities for students. It's interesting to learn about wolf behavior and to discover the same behaviors in domestic dogs. This book makes a great addition to a personal collection and a great gift.
